President's Message

Bangladesh is a country having vibrant industrial and agricultural sector. Hardworking, brave and visionary businessmen are working relentlessly to capture business opportunities home and abroad. Today, Bangladesh is the top source of all garments in the world. Being prominently an agrarian economy, more than 80% of the people are still in agriculture. However, it is also the most populous country in the world. The current dynamic Government has decided to give food security the topmost priority. The Prime Minister of the country has requested the business community to see the possibility of rice farming in Africa to reach our FOOD SECURITY goal.

BABO has been formed to assist business houses, investor farmers, Governments of Bangladesh and African Governments. Its role is to facilitate all stakeholders to overcome any problems that they may face. BABO shall disseminate all information relating to any country in Africa where Bangladeshi entrepreneurs wishes to invest or negotiate business. African businesses who want to have links to Bangladeshi businessmen, BABO will come forward to do the networking. We shall
take investment delegation to African countries to develop the Agribusiness especially in rice.
